I bought this for winter training outside for softball. I've had 2 in the past (by Rawlings and some other brand) that broke after a few throws, but I just got through 2 hours straight of throwing back and forth, occasionally hitting the metal sides, and it is holding up great. It is made very very very sturdy and the option to change the angle of the top section is great as well. I have played softball for 15 years and this is the first time I found a pitch back that is WORTH the money and LASTS! I actually did not even have to put the stakes in the ground (because the ground was frozen) I just leaned the back part against a wall. If your looking for some extra exercise or practice and you love just throwing the ball around, get this one. I am so glad I got it, it was well worth the money.

put it together in 15 minutes and my kid uses it for lacrosse...works well.
quite solid construction...and has stakes to stake it to the ground as well...I recommend it

Champion Sports Multi-Sport Net Pitch Back Screen is a nice heavy duty piece of equipment. I had a pitch back when I was a kid, but it was not nearly this nice. I like the fact that you can kick a soccer ball on the ground and it will pop up back to you so that you don't have to bend over.

I wish I was younger. Purchasing this for my son was not exactly something I wanted to do. I have probably bought, assembled and been frustrated by at least four "pitch-backs". The materials were shoddy and weak. The instructions barely legible and the fit of the parts was always an issue. Not the case with this pitch-back. Real steel tubing of a thickness that I would consider "beefy". Every part fit snuggly and securely into place and the double net at the top provides confidence for throwing hard and not worrying about damaging or breaking the unit. Very easy to angle the top for grounders or pop flies. Rugged and reliable. A well constructed piece.

We got this for my two sons to use for both recreation and physical therapy, and we love it. It was a snap to set up in minutes right out of the box by just looking at the pictures. I find it pretty easy to adjust the angle, or fold it down for storage/high wind days or getting through a doorway. It doesn't work like the $300 rebounder/minitramp in the PT place, but it doesn't cost $300, either, and it is a larger target, easy to use for anything from soccer to baseball to lacrosse, too. I threw some baseball pitches into it, and they came right back at my head, so I am pleased with the responsiveness of the net. My 8YO can toss in a soccer ball and have it come back to him at chest height reliably, which is what I want, and my 11YO uses it for a variety of sports.
I wanted a lightweight, easy to maneuver, reliable and sturdy rebounder that would respond to a variety of projectiles for under $100 for my boys (and myself!) to use for physical activity when others were busy and for focused practice, and I feel that that is precisely what we got with this particular net. We are very pleased.

My son uses it for baseball - practices pitching, daughter uses it for lacrosse. No complaints. easy to set up, easy to use. Seems relatively sturdy and durable. Good purchase.

This pitch back has proven to be very sturdy and up to its job. Mine arrived without assembly or user instructions. I was able to build it using the photo on the box but step-by-step instructions would have made the job much quicker.

We had purchased a similar product which was half the price of this. There was definitely a difference. This product has held up so far (3 months) of pretty continuous use from both a baseball and a soccer ball. Actually being used at the same time from the two different sides. I have not had problems with the provided ground spikes as others have described. They have held the unit down pretty well so far. Maybe we have denser dirt.

This is a pretty good quality net and solid frame system. I've seen far less sturdy frames and lighter duty nets on other systems. The thin metal ground pegs are worthless. You'll need to improvise some better quality ground stakes as what's supplied will pull out of the ground every few throws. I substituted 16 inch long tent stakes connected over the frame by strap ties. Once I installed my own ground stakes the frame never moved again. It must be staked down solidly to work properly. I'm throwing a heavy softball and once anchored this is a good quality product.
